Title: Mobile ordering and payments for festivals | Orderli
Description: Let festival visitors order and pay by phone at every bar or food truck, while your team keeps the pass organised and the queues short.

---

# Keep the festival rush out of the queue at the bar.

Guests order from the field and collect at the right bar or food truck. You keep track of what is left at each outlet.

Festivalgoers at sunset, with the stage in the distance.

## In use at venues including

- Van der Valk
- HEMA
- Fletcher Hotels
- De Bartel Groep
- Bierfabriek
- Grote Markt Den Haag
- Van Asch
- Foodhallen
- Schiphol

## Order from the field, collect where it’s quiet.

Every bar, food truck and collection point has its own QR code. Guests order during the set, pick a collection time and collect at a point beside the crowd, not in the queue for the bar.

## From the field to the collection point

The shorter the menu, the shorter the queue.

1. Scan at the bar or food truck Each QR code opens the menu for that one outlet.
2. Choose and pay Big photos, little text and only the choices that matter.
3. Collect when it’s ready Guests see which collection point has their order, so they don’t queue in the wrong line.

## The headliner has just finished. Everyone heads for the bar at once.

Nobody wants to download an app or read a long menu right then. A short menu, big buttons and an obvious collection point: that’s all it takes.

A festival team member pours drinks at an outdoor bar.

### What makes a festival different from a regular venue

- The rush comes in waves During a set it’s quiet, afterwards everyone wants something. The menu has to work at a glance.
- Stock runs out When the food truck runs out of wraps, they need to come off the menu at once, not after a queue of disappointed guests.
- Every site is different Where are the bars, where do guests collect, and how good is the signal behind the stage?

## Adjust while the festival is running.

What runs out comes off the menu. What comes in, the team sees per collection point.

### Sold out is sold out, per bar.

Switch an item off at one food truck while the others keep selling it.

### Ready shows on the screen.

Every order gets a pickup code that appears on the screen at the collection point the moment it is ready. Guests who would rather stay by the stage get a text.

### Cup back, money back.

Cup deposits run through the order. When a guest brings the cups back, the amount goes back onto their payment or out of the till in cash.

## What organisers often ask us

What if the signal on site is poor?

We look at that together beforehand. Sometimes the bars need extra wifi, sometimes mobile data is enough. You know well before the gates open.

Can each bar or food truck have its own menu?

Yes. Each outlet has its own menu and its own orders, and you switch items on or off whenever you like.

When should we start?

Well before the festival, so you can test menus, QR codes and ticket printers calmly. Book a demo and we will look at your site together.

Do guests need to download an app?

No. Guests order and pay in their phone’s browser: through the QR code at the table or the link to your own ordering site for takeaway and delivery. At a kiosk they order and pay on the kiosk itself.

Where does an order arrive?

Wherever you want: at the POS, on a ticket printer or on a tablet, split between kitchen and bar if you like. We set that up with you before you go live.

What if a dish runs out?

Pause it from the tablet or the dashboard for 1, 12 or 24 hours, and afterwards it returns to the menu by itself. Unavailable keeps it off until you switch it back on. Whether that also happens automatically from your POS depends on the integration.
