Menu and branding

# Your menu, in your handwriting.

You build the menu the way you would tell it at the table, in your own colours and photos. A change is there for the next guest.

Brown café**Café De Lantaarn** Classic serif type · Aged paper and oxblood · A photo in a frame

Cocktail bar**Velvet** Dark, with gold · A mood photo above the category · Labels like a bottle tag

Beach club**Duinroos** Sand, sea and soft shapes · Photos rounded like pebbles · A wave between categories

Japanese**Kumo** Plenty of white, fine lines · Square photos, numbered · A red seal as the logo

Festival**Zomerveld** Big type, loud colours · Tiles with full-bleed photos · Prices as stickers

Hotel**Hotel Linde** Quiet type, plenty of white · One large photo up front · Serving hours by the category

Brewery taproom**Brouwerij Steiger** A tap list, not a photo book · Every tap with a number and a colour · Typewriter type on slate

Trattoria**Trattoria Fiore** A checked tablecloth as a border · Photos in an arch · Dishes named in Italian

Fine dining**Aster** Everything centred, like a printed menu · Courses in Roman numerals · One round plate as the photo

Coffee bar**lepel** Lowercase type, a soft colour · Square photos in two columns · Coffee first, then breakfast

## The atmosphere stays yours. On screen too.

Manage your menu and see what guests see as you work.

### Name, price and colour beside the guest view

Change the name, price and menu colour in the editor. The preview beside it immediately shows what the guest will read.

### The menu remains recognisably yours

Alongside the quick colour choice, you can manage typography and category imagery, so the digital menu fits the atmosphere of your venue. Your logo is on the menu with every plan, your own colours from Standard, and your full house style on Professional.

### Sold out? Change availability immediately.

Pause a dish for one, twelve or twenty-four hours. Guests no longer see it, and once the time is up it is back on the menu by itself. Unavailable keeps it off until you switch it back on.

#### Everything about the dish stays together

Manage photos, options, prices, allergens and dietary details in the same place. Chosen portions and extras reach the kitchen.

## What you can make your own.

Not just a logo and a colour. Nearly everything a guest sees on the menu can look the way your place feels inside.

- Your own typeface The same type as on your shopfront and beer mats, even when a phone does not have it.
- Every colour Background, text, prices, buttons and rules: every colour on the menu can be yours.
- How the menu is laid out A calm list, big tiles or one photo per dish. Whatever suits how your guests choose.
- Photo style Rounded, framed, warmly toned or full-bleed. The same photo, a different place.
- Category headers A mood photo, an ornate title or a sticker: every category gets its own opening.
- Labels on dishes House special, vegan or new, in a shape that suits your place.
- Light or dark A dark menu for the bar, a light one for the terrace. Easy to read in any light.
- A look per menu Your winter menu, brunch or festival weekend can look different from your regular menu.

## From a standard menu to yours.

Slide across the menu. On the left as it comes out of the box, on the right the same menu in the venue’s own style.

### What changed

- The venue’s own type and colours
- A mood photo above the category
- A label like a bottle tag
- A dark menu for the evening

### What stayed the same

- Dishes, prices and options
- How the guest orders and pays
- Allergens and translations

What’s also handy is that you can switch a product off straight away when it’s run out. And I think the product information, like allergens, is a big plus too. **Joey Elzas · Coco’s Outback** General manager Entree Magazine · 17 September 2026 Translated from Dutch[Read the article](https://www.entreemagazine.nl/ondernemen/800-gasten-die-willen-bestellen-je-wordt-altijd-snel-geholpen)

## Common questions

Can I manage several menus?

Yes. Menus, cards, categories and schedules support different moments or concepts.

Can I see a change before guests do?

Yes. The menu editor includes a live preview of the guest view.

Can an item be temporarily unavailable?

Yes. Stock and availability can change without permanently removing the item.

Does branding depend on my plan?

Partly. Your own logo is on the menu with every plan. Your own colours come with Standard and up. On Professional the menu is fully in your house style, including your own typography and category images.

Do I have to design the menu myself?

No. You send your menu and whatever you have of your house style, such as logo, colours, typeface and photos. We set the menu up in your style. After that you change dishes, prices and photos yourself.
